My First DIY Sump

Heres a picture of my sump. What do you guys think? I just made it today and it is my first attempt. Any suggestions are welcome.

I am water testing it tomorrow. On the left side will be a hang on back protein skimmer with the return flowing into the middle section where I will have a fuge. Then on the right side will be a return pump. I need help on piping. I have a U tube and I was thinking about just using that with a return pump. Would that work?

for the middle section fuge, if you can, make the 3rd baffle from the left a fraction smaller then the 4th from the left. that way you can have a dsb in there and have a lot of room for whatever macro you decide.

just curious what size tank is that?

Its a 20 gallon tank. It will be going on my 30 gallon.

The bubble trap may not work very well, the water will fall over the first baffle and have to much speed and just push the bubbles under the middle trap. If the third trap was the same height as the first, it would "slow" down the flow going downward. I made the same mistake, and I have to keep the water level in return section in my sump higher than the third baffle.

i dont have a fuge but i kinda want to make one..so i could just be stupid..but is there any way u could incorperate filter floss to kill the bubbles?

Yes I believe that you can put a sponge or some type of bubble remover between the baffles.
