My first fish!

Well, I finally added some fish to my tank. I now have two green chromis. One of them is now swimming around happy, ( a few hours after acclimatizing), and the other is laying in the sand panting. Is this normal for new saltwater fish. I cant remember any of my resh water doing this. It is a 75 gallon tank, temp 82, ph 8.2 salinity 1.023 ammonia 0 nitrites nitrates 5. does all seem ok? Wish me luck, my tank is finally coming alive. Oh yea, and its covered in algae, but my 6 turbos are starting to make a dent in it.

temp is high. should be closer to 78. otherwise, sounds good.
Did the tank cycle first? I'm assuming so, since you have nitrates but I've learned not to assume.
No, it's not normal. How did you acclimate them? And for how long? leave the lights off and try not to bother the fish. Lower the salitiny if you don't have any inverts (lower salintity makes it easier for them to breath.-nm, you have snails).

Per SWF.com's acclimation procedure.
The following items may display behavior you are not familiar with:
Fish: May breate rapidly during acclimation -- this is normal.
