My first Pics

Please don't laugh too hard. This setup has been a struggle for a newbie like me to get right, but I think I finally have it. All my corals are frags, so I have nothing really substantial in my tank but my Green Atlantic Carpet Anemone. Here goes...

I have more stuff... but here are a couple of non-coral pics... my emerald crab hanging with my peppermint shrimp and my LMB protecting my green star polyps.

and my last 2... a pair of red mushrooms, that were tiny when I got them and a poor pic of my little red kenya tree frag, who is finally starting to show signs of growth.

That "kenya tree" you have there is actually the brown formation of a colt coral.

That's good to know. I really didn't care when I bought it... it was my first coral besides the red mushrooms. I only knew what the person who sold it to me called it.

did those little algae blooms grow naturally? or did you buy them and put them there?

It's chaeto and I put it there to help me maintain my nitrates since I don't have a refugium.

Ive been thinking that I would definitely want to get some chaeto for my tank too. Is it pretty easy to find? I've heard also that it grows pretty easily. Let met know what you know about it, I've VERY interested in it!!! BTW, your tank looks awesome...that's pretty much my deciding vote on getting the chaeto, it really looks great in your tank, and I think I can manage it in mine as well.
