It is a nice fish, however, that guy needs a bigger tank than a 37 gallon.
They will grow quick.
If your profile is correct, you should stick with smaller fish.
A dwarf lion MAY be alright in that tank, but even they should have more room than that.

I agree need a bigger tank these guys get huge and fairly quickly. They are awesome fish though. Mine was about 12" long when I got rid of him, and when faned out was about the size of a milk jug.

Well if you look in my pic you can see a large rectangular trigger, and there was also a niger trigger in that tank. Heck you can even see in the lower left I had a clow that survived in there.

I read in some threads that triggers and lions aren't good to keep together cause the triggers would nipp away at the lion.

a quick little tidbit you can put a lion with a trigger however look at the trigger before you buy him if his teeth are pertruding outside his mouth dont get him if you can't see his teeth he might be ok with the lion. Also yes I do have a 37G tank that the lion is in now in about 3-4 months I am opening a cafe and will be putting a 250G+ tank in there and thats where this beauty will go this is the best looking lion I have ever seen and I couldn't pass him up!!!

Well I get up this morning and he was no where to be found :notsure: well I started getting curious I have a few damsels in the tank so I thought they might be the culprits but low and behold it was my dang Chocolate Chip Starfish that was 2 times fatter.
If anyone has had any similar incidents let me know.
p.s. sorry for doing my homework...

Nice Lion Congrats...just make sure levels are stable before you add anything, since you dont want to shock your bioload. It is hard in this hobby, but patience is everything.

The tank is already shocked if the fish is in there at 2 weeks. Good luck to him! Poor fish.
