I turn off all my powerheads and then spot feed my shrimp and fish first and then i will spot feed each coral and try to get at least 4 pieces of mysis on each head lot of times some heads still dont get fed but maybe the next time they do and others dont Seems to be working for me so far.

Well just got finished acclimating a new piece of chalice frag i got from the lfs. It was only 10 bucks and not anything fancy or anything but still something cool to add And also when i was looking in the tank after i added it, i noticed my cleaner shrimp was dead It was fine just 20 minutes before. I SWARE I THINK MY ORCHID DOTTYBACK IS KILLING THEM. It has killed a emerald crab, a fire shrimp and now maybe my cleaner shrimp Thats like 60 bucks worth of livestock that bad little fish has cost me But its so pretty and dont want to get rid of it so oh well. I pulled off a few tiny pices of the shrimp and fed it to the acan and then fed some to the fish in my jbj. hahaha. The clowns seemed to go crazy for it. HAHAHA.

Always geettin something new lol! Pretty sweet piece for 10 bucks. Cheapest coral my LFS thats 30 mins away has is green star polyps and they wont like 59 for the POS! I always gotta travel at least 2 hjours to get to a decent store to get any corals!

Yah thanks for the comments I fed it mysis for the first time last night ! It loved it i think. Well my sun coral i know i have gotten tons and tons of comments about it and everyone loves it but unfortunately i think its on its last legs Its starting to lose tissue by the day and i cant seem to help it. I feed it and feed it but its not growing back like it usually does. So well have to just see how it goes i guess.

Thanks for the comment. I keep the sand clean i guess with the help of the Fighting Conch. It does nothing but filter the sandbed all day long Try to buy one it will work wonders.

Sun corals on its last legs? Is tissue just receeding or is an algae taking over? You may need to blow debris off the skeleton for it to grow back.

Seems the tissue is receeding It seems that the orchid dottyback will grab a mouth full of sand and then go and spit it out ontop of the sun coral. Dunno why it does this but i have caught it doing it several times. I blow it off but it seems to be more right after i do it again.

Well ok so i added a Geometric Pygmy hawkfish today. Well he lasted a total of about 20 minutes before i had to take it out and back to lfs. My orchid dottyback would not leave it alone and had it cornered and on its side so i figured that was a sign it was gonna be harassed to death. Well nothing new. Thought was gonna have some new pics of that but oh well No one comments on my threads anymore so ill probably not be on here hardly anymore. This place seems pretty boring. if any of you have my ps3 id you can msg me there also

its very boring around here lately! To boring actually. haha i funny u cant get a new fish!!!! Take that other one out! or get something meaner and bigger like a shark. Thatd do the trick.

Well heck i thought the hawkfish would be mean enough for the dottyback. I mean it had a PISTOL SHRIMP in its stomach and the antennae sticking out its mouth when i bought it. It had eaten one from that they had in the tank. LOL. But as soon as i put the fish in the tank the dottyback tortured it literally. Poor lil guy. He was only like 1.5 inches. Such an awesome nano fish. Hey do you think it would be alright in my jbj nano ? You know i have 2 b/w clowns,hectors goby,bi color blenny, and yashia goby in that tank. The lfs said it would probably be ok since i do a weekly water change of about 30 percent every week but i dunno. What do you think ? I read up on em and it said they are rare to get in the trade and ive only seen 2 or 3 at the lfs in the last year I really want it. What you think i should do bro ? I dont think anything would bother it in my jbj nano but i think that is seriously too many fish i have already but anyways just wondering your opinion.

Im not the one to think a tank is to crammed w fish as long as they act normal n seem happy and waTER quality is fine. Id say go for it. If it goes bad u can always remove him and send him to me

I say u take the dottyback out and u can get more fish!

As long as everything is peaceful and you do large water changes I think you could give it a shot

It has been really quiet around here lately, but it seems like there are new threads starting everyday in this forum. I think once they figure out that when you post on someones thread they will most likely return the favor it should get busier

SWEEEET. I think i am gonna go get that fish today then It might eat my SEXY SHRIMP. LOL. But maybe it will leave them alone Who knows. Someone try to let me know asap. HEHHEE. It will be exciting to see it chasing the sexy shrimp around maybe and gobbling them down. I can always go and buy more i guess Or do i want a Fire Chalice ? LOL
