My First Tank (55)

OK, here it is my first swf tank. It has been set up for 5-6 weeks now. 4-5 weeks of cycling and 1 week of new inhabitants. I think everything is going pretty good.
Heres the inhabitant list
30lbs of fiji live rock
25lbs of lava base rock
2-3 pieces of bleached coral for that "filler" effect ;)
Fish:
2 false perce
Anenome:
1 Florida Condi
Inverts:
1 sally light foot
1 peperment shrimp - i think he died though, the last time i saw him was 1 day after he was put in there....Missing!!! time to break out the milk carton!!
1 arrow crab
1 lettuce nudibranch- got sucked into the powerhead and i think he didnt make it. Also missing!!
20 Scarlet Hermit Crab
20 Blueleg Hermit Crab
20 Turbo/Astrea Snail
10 Nasssarius Snail
3 Emerald Crab
1 Coral Banded Shrimp
2 Feather Duster
This hobby is addicting, i want more stuff...fish and corals, but i know i have to wait awhile. Let me know what you think, or if you have any questions!!
btw..sorry the pics are kinda skewed

just a quick question. If you look in the left lower corner of the actinic picture you can see my small percs. I CANNOT get them to leave that spot, they stay there all day. It kidna stinks because they hide behind that big coral branch all day and wont go anywhere near the other rocks or anenome. I even tried putting a powerhead in that corner to "suggest" they leave. All that did was make it hard to feed them because the mysis/garlic goo gets blown all over the place. Does anyone have any reccomendations to get them mobile??

i think your tank looks good for just starting out. give the perculas a lil more time. they should start swimming around more.

My false perc's didn't move from the corner for about three months. I bought a green bubble and now they won't leave it unless it is dinner time.

they seem to explore a little more of the tank each day. They still really like their little corner though.
Hey inkman, You say they adopted your bubble anenome as soon as you put it into the tank???? were your percs wild or aquacultured???? Im curious if i were to put something similar in my tank if they would adopt it also???
does anyone know which anenomes percs prefer over others??

I did some research about percs. and found out that they like bubble anenome, I'm about to buy new lighting and then get some bubble anenome for my percs THey also hid in the corner and didn't do much. They slept there too Now they move all over and sleep where ever they can, my batfish took their spot

Bang would know better but I think I read somewhere that percs like to stay in one territory and don't venture much beyond that.

yeah my percs don't move around a whole lot but like yours for the first week or so they stayed in the same corner mainly...now i see em hanging out in different spots now and again and when feeding they bolt all around the tank...i'll be happy when my tanks established enough to get a BTA for them...:happy:

the red stuff = lava rock im told, came free with some stuff that i bought from a guy on here
The real stuff from a LPS. It was real nice, but not competely cured when i bought it for $4.50/lb. My tank was cycleing so it didnt really matter.
why do you ask???
