Enjoy. I just had to post some pics of my two favorite fish. My sailfin had some ick, but is know over that and eating me out of house and home. I love watching him graze on the LR.

Here is the other fish. My puffer is so funny. He thinks he is sneaking up on my blueleg hermits, but they always hide right as he snaps at them. His stomach gets so big when he eats.

He's in the 54 gal. corner. I know it's sad because I will have to trade some day due to his size. Right now he is happy and doesn't bother anyone.

Glad to see that someone else loves the sailfin's as much as I do!:jumping:  :D I have both a red sea like yours and a regular sailfin. Ofcourse they are in different tanks but both are awesome. They will definitely eat you out of house and home though. Mine are always grazing the rocks and then when I throw flakes in there, they go nuts again. I try and get a pic of mine and share it with you.

I am glad everyone has enjoyed seeing my two favorite buddies right now. I hope that when the time comes to trade in my sailfin I can get a flame angle. I think those guys are beautiful.

In regard to the Ick problem with the sailfins, I've found the best way to rid a tank of ick and to keep it gone is by the use of a cleaner shrimp. The cleaner shrimp also are very entertaining to watch as they jump on the "DIRTY FISH" to clean them. My Sailfin is about 7" and he goes every couple of days for a cleaning. Also on the Ick matter, just be careful of medicene if there are any inverts in the tank, It will kill 'em. UV Sterilizers are said to also help but that's on this recent college grad's wish list.

Copper based medicenes is what I meant by the last message. READ WARNINGS ON THE PACKAGING and research anything you are to put in a tank full of living organisms. And Sailfin, you have a beauty there!
