i Have a 100 Gallon reef tank , i had around 25 fishesh and 10 inverts and 20 corals here is a pic :
http://www.ratemyfishtank.com/friendemail.php/33998
. my stats where at its best .only my NO3 was around 20 , i used the "Vodka Method " with a 40% red label Smirnof for about 4 weeks and my NO3 was less than 10 , my bottle got empty so i ordered a new one , the guy who brings vodka ( its iligal here) brought a 50% blue label instead of the 40% . i thought i only decrease the weekly increase for the fish tank to adjust to the new vodka . so i did it . after 3 days . MY WHOLE TANK DIED . some fish lost their fins like i poured ACID or something . alomost all my fish died . now its been a week since the inccident . only 4 fish and 5-6 corals remain.they got poison i think ... the inverts seemed ok except one of the star fish .
any IDEAS ?
and i used this Vodka method :

What is this "Vodka Method" and what does it do? Oh and can you dumb it down for me since I'm new to this saltwater tank stuff. Tried reading the link but some of the things I didn't understand. Thanks

I am not surprised, if this tank was only three months old, that everything lasted as long as it did. This tank is way to immature to have as much life as it does in it. You did not take your own advice.

Well if Hollywood ever needs someone to set up a Saltwater fish tank and make it LOOK mature, you will have a job. 3 months!!! I would still be making sure my cycle was complete. I agree with Spanko, it's not like you didn't know better. You didn't take your own advice.
Start over and take your time, because you can sure make a beautiful tank.

I don't believe it is a picture of his tank or I don't believe it is three months old. One or the other.
Just sayin.................

There is a General sea star in the back (not reef safe) and there is no algae, it is possible to put a bunch of coral and fish in a tank and in a few weeks have a nice looking tank just before a crash. I don't see any coralline nor in the sand line.

yeah , when i went to the LFS i could resist seeing all those nice corals and fishes everywhere so i got carried away ... now i killed more than 600$ of fish and corals in a week . and there were some red slime and green hair algae ... and the red one just keeps coming every week even though my PO4 is low and my flow is good , i think its my lights or my daily light durations .

Here, LFS are the same. Some don't know and some don't care. They just want to sell fish. Sorry about your tank.
If you decide to start over, I recommend you go slowly and don't overstock this time. Spend some time reading in the new hobbyist section and ask alot of questions. There should be no need for vodka dosing if you slow it down and let things occur more naturally!

What!!?? Are you now saying that you added an anemone and a seahorse? to a tank that was crahed this morning! Tell me I have grossly misunderstood this!
