My friend is giving me a 55 gallon tank

Please Help!!
My friend is giving me a 55 gallon Saltwater fishtank. He doesn't have any room anymore. Its only like 4 years old and comes with everything.
I have a 75 - couple 55 gallon and some various smaller tanks that i've had for years so I understand how to take care of them but know nothing about saltwater
Problem is that It wasnt been taken care of latly. The live rock is covered with green alge and there are little red centepeed looking worms in the sand. It only has four fish left.
Im just looking for some advice.
I plan on setting it up and getting it up to snuff before putting to much money into it.
Im also thinking of adding some more rock too.
So what can I get to eat the worms and clean the alge.

most worms are good things, not sure what type you have, maybe someone else can help with that, as for the alge, hermits, snails and emerald crabs. good luck

how bad is the algae? can you post a pic. because depending on the severity. there are different solutions. sometimes a simple cleaning crew, sometimes restarting at square one. explain the algae a bit more in depth.

It is dark green and covers the LR, The rest of the tank isnt as bad I guess
