This is my Frogspawn in the 225G...I took this pic at night with a flashlight
I got it as a tiny frag from SWF...it's obviously not the frogspawn that grows on stalks...so what is it called then????

p.s.....if you notice the algae behind it....please notice the lack of algae in front of it...lol....(workin on it)

It will grow into stalks. Each area where there is a gap is where it will seperate more and turn into stalks.

I would suggest you google Euphyllia divisa (non-branching) and Euphyllia paradivisa (branching).
I am much more familiar with paradivisa (as most are), but I suspect yours is Euphyllia divisa.

OK...thanks....I have a paradivisa in my other tank too...

I think the tissue pinches off and dies, so you get the stalk.
It may pinch off and die, as it usually does, but if you can keep that from happening, then that's an even healthier coral.

I had to get this pic at night as you know the polyps cover the skeleton otherwise...
