I have a Japanese style Santoku knife that I use occasionally when I dont feel like cleaning my big chef's knife, but its made by Henckels, which is headquarterd in Solingen, Germany.

My knives are Henckel, my pans are Emerilware (the inexpensive version of All-Clad). My utensils are wood, my steamer is bamboo.
