I think he found his new home. Whenever I come downstairs I look around for him to find him in this one rock peaking his head out kind of like a watchman.

When he has his back spiked up like that does it mean he's stressed out? Does he look healthy? I'm not sure yet what to look for when looking at my fish to tell if they're stressed or not feeling at home yet.

If a LMB keeps his fins closed up all the time he isn't feeling well. Fanning out when he rests on a rock is normal behavior, he is alert and thinks he moves unseen like a ninja. That's why he freezes in place when you look at him, he THINKS you don't see him...LOL

I don't think I could have a tank without a LMB in it.
To me, they are the very coolest fish ever.
One of mine likes to perch on my LTA, who doesn't seem to mind. He's my fattest LMB with his monster potbelly.
He will take algae sheets out of my fingers. I have had him about five years. I took him to Massachussetts and back again.

OMG I TOTALLY AGREE....Mine was one of my first purchases....I KNOW....I KNOW....I was a newb and had not found this site...and had NO CLUE .....I did not at that time do the correct research....I paid monetarily for that....LUCKILY my fish did not.....I am guessing they were lucky
I only have one in the 225G (since 7/22/08) and feel the large tank is perfect for it.....even though ..knock on wood....I am algae free right now
But that little face...haha

If anything happened to Benny, I think I would have a breakdown. I love that fish to death. He is waiting for a treat every morning when I turn on the lights and watches everything everyone does all day.

Haha, I think everyone has named theirs Benny. Benny Ninja to be exact! Since someone stated he moves like a ninja... I had to throw Ninja at the end.

My Lawnmower blenny is named Zippyfish he is #3 named that name.
#1 I gave away when I moved
#2 was eaten by my tube anemone
The Grandkids named it. I thought they named it that because he would zip and hide...but when asked they said it was because he looked like a zipper because his fin is one piece..
