My LFS has a Stonefish, should i buy him?

Just curious what people's opinions are on Stonefish? I know they are HIGHLY poisonious and that's got me a little scared. I have a 90 gallon with two snails, two damsels, and a snowflake eel right now. Lots of live rock and sand. I know the damsels will probably get eaten eventually, but no big deal, just bought them to get the tank cycled and to have something in there while it cycled. But i'm really looking for advise on Stonefish and does anyone here have one?

LOL!
They are not the least bit electric.
Their dorsal spines are venemous...other than that, they seem to be a very peaceful fish. There has even been video and picture, on another forum I'm on, of a Stonefish owner petting and holding their 10" specimen.
You are right tho...the fish and moray will be eaten.

I have had a stonefish for about a year now, it's a very interesting fish specially at feeding time. If you are going to buy one first know that they are EXTREMELY venomous, but not electric, and they will ( I am speaking from experience on this one ) eat anything that they can fit into their very large mouths. They are not very active and will perch on top of your rocks so be aware of this if you have corals.
If there is a risk of children or anyone else not familiar with the fish reaching into your tank then I would recomend against it, but as I said I have one and she is my favorite fish.
If you get one then be careful and enjoy.
