my LFS

long story short:
i trade in my v.lion for a 40$ store credit. and got a flame angel and a half black angel for 25 bucks
the flame was 60$ minus the 40 credit

the half black was ZERO

if you can see in the pic the 1/2 black is missing his eye, and the owner couldnt stand to see it/have custos. see it. so when i was looking at a way to spend my money (flame). we struck up a conv: i brought my lion to him. he offered the 1/2 black to me for 1 $. i said no, then he gave it to me for free. and i took it so i got 90$'s of fish for 25bucks after tax and the 1/2 black has a nice new home that he can live happily in for the rest of his life. iam extatic to share a DECENT LFS story.
now he has the only name in the tank
Pirate CPT. Jack Sparrow

You need to keep an eye on those fish.
No pun intended?
But, yes, everything I've ever read says one angel per tank. And, aren't the flames supposed to be one of the most aggressive of the smaller angels?

yeah i know but they are 2 totaly diff sizes and colors. that is why i was hesitant to take the half black. but he said he was just gonna "get ride of it" also i added them at the same time so it seemed to add to the confusion of the tank, and so far they havent even seen each other. the half black has a 50% less chance of seeing the flame. when there paths cross they dont give each other a second look. so as of now the tank is in perfect harmony. and iam happy to report that the half black is just crusing the tank without a care in the world.

I laughed out loud when I read this :) Dude, you probably were not trying to be funny, but it sure was!
I would tell you WATCH them closely with BOTH eyes (pun intended!) and if they start fighting have a plan on who you are going to move or take back to the store.
