I had my lighting fixture on the floor when I spilled some water and I think it got inside of the fixture. Is this ruined? I had planned on letting it completely dry out and then turning it on. Anu reccomedations?

at the very least make sure to allow it time to dry out before turning it on again. It should be ok but it depends on exactly what happened. Was it on when the water hit it? If it was off and there wasn't any current going to it it should be ok. After allowing it to dry out, check it over to see if everything looks ok, clean out the salt, etc.

If you have the means, I suggest you take the fixture apart and get as much water out with paper towels, a wet/dry vac, etc.
If you simply let the water evaoporate, it can leave a conductive salt crust in there that can cause problems.
At the very least, I'd inspect internally before turning it back on to make sure there's no salt crust on any terminals, etc.

The lights were not on when they got wet. I don't think we're talking about a lot of water but it was enough that when i turned over the fixture a little water did come out.

It should be fine. I've dropped mine in the tank before and it works fine now. Just allow it to dry out completely and try to make sure therer isn't any salt crust on anything like SCSInet said before you turn it back on.
