I was digging through some old photos and found one of our Umbrella Leather when we first got it. Then I looked at the photos I took of it last month and it's like wow, it grew that much. Here it is when it was small.

WOW!!!!!!! That thing is huge how long have you had it?

We have had it about 18 months.

Could a clown host in a mushroom like that without hurting the clown or the mushroom?

The umbrella is home to a green clown goby. He has been living there since it was small.

No babies yet. I have been thinking about fragging it but the rock it moved to is very large and I have to move a bunch of stuff around to get it out.

How wide is it?

It's over a foot wide now. You can hardly fing the green clown goby that lives in it unless he wants you to.

It does take up quite a bit of realastate in the tank. Then on the other end of the tank we have our Mongo GSP colony. I have fragged the GSP many times but have never had the guts to frag the umbrella. Here is a pick of the GSP on the other end of the tank. The percs love to host in them.

those umbrella leathers are my favorite corals mine was 3" and now it is over 15" 4 years later
