crap... I thought you had already cycled your tank. you put an expensive fish into a not fully cycled tank?
I don't know. For some reason I though your tank had already cycled fully. (this has been an ADD moment brought to you by the makers of Riddlin and Aderol)
OK first thing's first.
>What are your ammonia, nitrate, nitrite levels? they are supposed to all be at zero to indicate that your cycle is finished
>If your tank is done cycling, then there is no use taking out the fish, BUT if you are still reading that stuff in your tank, get the fish out.
>When you have no ammonia, trates or trites get a clean up crew for your tank. they will take care of the diatoms and the nuisance algae you are sure to get. in a few WEEKS put the fish back in.
a water change will effect the cycling. And I really have to ask... HAVE you been checking your ammonia, trate, and trite levels?
