my new 130 gallon tank is being order need suggestions on what fish to buy?

In any aquarium you are trying to create a balance. The number of fish you have, the amount they eat, and the amount of waste they produce should be checked by good filtration, and maintenance. I would say that adding a lot of potentially big fish to a tank will cause you to need excellent filtration and a lot of maintenance. Some people are not willing to do the amount of work necessary to maintain a tank with a heavy bioload. It is safe then to advise them not to add too many fish.
Tangs and angels in particular are strange creatures. Some people have kept 5 tangs in a 55 gallon tank with no problems and others cannot keep 2 together due to their being territorial fish. It all depends on the particular fish you get. (not kind but individual fish) I have 2 tangs in my 120 that get along great. A customer of mine has 7 tangs in a 300 gallon that do equally as well together, but I have another customer that cannot keep more than one because they fight and eventually kill one another. There is no definite answer when it comes to these fish. You may keep 5 tangs in your 130 while someone else has a different experience with the same size tank and same type tangs.
I would definitely make sure that you get more than adequate filtration for this tank. Excellent water quality is a necessity no matter what.

More than a couple of tangs should not be kept in 130 gallon tank. You CAN put more but you shouldn't. You should be more worried about the fishes well being other than eye candy for yourself.
I too have seen fish stores with tangs packed in them, I have also seen tangs with missing fins and tears on their bodies in the same tank! It is not suggested so I will not suggest it.
You have to be carefull when taking advice. Sometimes it is meant with good intentions but that does not make it right.
