I love everything about your tank. Especially the photos on the canopy, looks like the display tanks in a public aquarium with the photos of the specimen in the display. NICE!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I did do all the deisgn and construction of the stand and canopy. woodworking is my second hobby. It helps to have the two go hand in hand....
I do have all the fish you mention; 4 3 stripe damsels, 2 yellow tail damsels, flame angel, yellow tang, 5 chromis, two clown.
The green carpet is probably my favorite. The coloring is spectacular.
The stand was constructed at a higher level than normal. Learned this from building my 100g stand. I got tired of leaning over all the time to look in. So now the middle of this tank is at about my eye level. No more stooping... If you are looking at building a stand for yourself consider raising the height so that the middle of your tank is at your eye level... and oh, buy a step stool, you will need it... :)

Oh and you may recognize some of the photos on my canopy as coming from here... :) hopefully nobody gets offended. I printed out the photos on high gloss kodak inkjet paper, laminated them and then laser cut the shape to fit in the frame. Backed that up with 1/4 clear acrylic. I dont like the look of most canopies simply because they usually look like a big block of wood on the front... I thought the back lite pics would be a nice alternative... to the usual stuff out there.
The front of the stand as you can see has a drawer front. There are actually two drawers side by side, but they share the same front. Wanted the desin element to have one continuous front but becasue of the post in the middle of the stand I had to break up the drawer into two pieces.
Thanks again for all your comments....

vyper-
excellent looking tank! i LOVE that carpet. i did the same thing with the stand for my 100 gal... its 40" high, and i love it. its so much easier to view everything with it being that high.
