sorry i posted it twice...im a complete week into my cycle my salinity is 1.021 and i got all these brown spots in my tank and i got a lot of air bubbles on my live rock and i took my water to the pet shop and they said everything is good with the nitrate they told me to do a water change of 20 percent is this to much water?????? what should i do becuz i dont trust those pet shops cuz they just wana make money... this is my tankAttachment 211795

ok. did you go to a local fish store? or pet shop? if you can buy a saltwater tester and test it and post what you get here and we will let you know.
how long has your tank been cycling? and what do you have in chamber 2? middle chamber in the back? if you have bio balls take it out and replace it with chaeto! that will help you lots more

i have a filter sponge and activated carbon and ceramic rings 3level chamber what do u think thanks

Take everything out of back chamber:
Chamber one: Get some Chemi-pure
Chamber two: Chaeto and Light
Chamber three: Pump and heater
All you need for flitration, and LOTS of live rock. More the better
