My "new" 55 gallon tank

as some of you may know my tank was resently wiped out
but that has not swayed my from the hobby
i was wondering about the stocking list in the tank
I plan to add
1 breeding pair of false perc. clowns
1 flame or flameback angel
1 copperband butter
1 fire fish
I hope to create a reef tank with lots of coral and invertabrates
any advise wold be great!

Yeah, an eight inch fish in a 55 is pretty big. I personally wouldn't do it. But that doesn't mean it cant be done.
Maybe two firefish? I think they're happier in pairs.

can anyone suggest a replacement to the copperband that is orange or blue
I like to have one big showstopper in the tank and a few other smaller fish to go with it
I was also thinking allong the lines of a snowflake moray eel or a bluechin trigger
anyone with experiance with these guyes?

The moray gets two feet long or more, so I'd personally say that's too big for a 55. The trigger will outgrow the tank too. So assuming you plan to stick with a 55, I'd say no to both.
Maybe a coral beauty, pygmy, or bicolor angelfish instead of a flame? That would add blue, your clowns will already give you orange. A bicolor would give you blue and yellow.

I know the flame angel and flameback angel are very different in color and size
do you think it is possible to keep them together?
My lfs keeps them together and was wondering if this could work in my tank?

so my new stocking list so far is:
x1 flame angel
x1 flameback angel
x1 pair of false perc clowns
x2 yellow tails damsels
I don't know, that is an awfully small tank for two angels.
And make sure you want the damsels, they're mean little buggers.
I apologize I'm being so critical of your fish list, I'm just passing on the knowledge that other people have given me. We all want your tank to be a success, not a failure.

I suppose. But be ready to remove one at a moments notice, and have another tank ready to receive it.
You'll love the flame angel. I just bought one today, the sure are beautiful!

Wow, that's pretty cool.
Mine doesn't like me very much right now, lol. But once he learns I'm the source of food, that will change.

well anyway I was doing some research and I think I might do this:
x1 flame angel
x1 flameback angel
x1 trible blenny
x1 false perc. clown
x1 longnose hawk
any help with these guys?!?
