I have an assortment of things in here....3 yellow tail blue damsels, 1 green chromis, 1 three stripe damsel, 1 pajama cardinal, 1sm. blue tang hippo, 1 cin. clown fish, 1 scooter blenney and 1 chocolate chip star fish. Also have 2 feather dusters, several mushrooms, 1 sm. zenia, sm. colony of zoos, sm bunchy of candy cane, 2 coral I'm not sure of the name and several snales and hermit crabs.

cc star fish in not good in a new tank it eats off the l/r and in a new tank no food he will die
.
drop in intank filters thay will plug up fast of you need the flow and can remove the filters and stuf so thay are just p/h.

Just my opinion. It seems that you do have to many fish in the tank. I would suggest to take out the yellow tail damsels and the 3 stript damsel because they are very aggressive fish. The reason I say this is because the sm. hippo tang is more of a delicate fish and the damsels are bound to hassel him. The hippo tangs stress easily and can die pretty fast. Its a beautiful fish and I would rather have him than the damsels. If you take out those damsels you can put some other more peaceful fish in there. Like I said its just my opinion.
I also agree that the c.c star is not reef safe and like it was said just about any star fish will need a mature tank to survive. I have to agree about the in tank filters also. On a positive note I really like the way you set up the rock work. How old is the tank?
