I want VERY honest feeback on the appearance....please dont bother yelling about the cc and not having ls...already been there done that about dealing with issues on taht hahah. So pretend it is ls as you look. Other than that...how is the appearance so far?

my lonely yellow tail damsel haha, just added him yesterday.

my chocoalte chip star is VERY VERY active and rarely comes off the glass...i feed him by hand a shrimp pellet every morning.

I dont what this is growing on the rock...i found it in like 4 different places.

Very nice, like the rock formation. I too have cc but also 2 inches of LS on top of that and so far have not had issues with it setteling. Good start can't wait to see updates as you add.

its alrite. i would add more live rock and spread it out through out the tank instead of just in one middle. and that the coralline algae.

great reminds me of when I started my 72 bow front. make sure not to put any corals in the same tank as that CC star!

Get the LR off the glass...make a passageway back there for water to circulate. No corals w/ CC star is correct.Looks like a nice start...what are your plans for it?

i didnt know the rock needed to be away from the glass....how far?
I dont really know...I would like low lite corals, like polpys, mushrooms, zoos after about 6 months. Basic fish...i have inverts coming next week. I will more than likely take the cc star back once i get into the corals though. as of now I have only seen him off the glass one time.

it can be on the glass. just make sure pressures not on the glass. you can get a powerhead and just face it pointing behind the rocks .. your rockwork looks very nice bluephi115, i can see a nice reef in that tank. lots of holes and can fit a bunch of corals in that tank. good luck and have fun, don't rush.

wow. how did you make this far and never hear the word power head. well anyways
yes you should have flow coming for different directions in the tank. random current is the goal. cost if anywhere from 20 bucks up to a few hundred if you want to go crazy with it

so would like a 300gph be sufficient? do I put it on the opposite end of the tank than my punp now that is pushing water?
thanks a ton!
