update tank is going great, just got through diatom bloom which wasnt that bad, I have added couple more fish and tonight got my first coral frogspawn.
Here are some pics ( my twins had to jump in couple of them )
I have been testing water everynight before bed API test kit

nitrate 5-10
Got some cheato for refugium from lfs
did first water change 2 nights ago. I bought 55g tank off of CL for $40....want to make one large sump with integrated fuge..siliconed all baffles yesterday gonna switch everything tomorrow..will post pics when its all done

Beautiful fish and especially KIDS! Love your aquascape---it is hard to get it just right. Just my .02---Even though you moved things from an established tank, I'd slow down on adding more fish for awhile. Seems like alot in a short amount of time, you don't want to rock the boat too much. The flame and the tang are gorgeous!! I saw a flame today at our LFS that I have been thinking about---seeing yours makes me really want it. Thanks alot

yeah just bought flame on Sun. and yellow tang 2 weeks ago....Im done with fish for awhile....only other fish I have been thinking bout is some type of Goby or small blue tang...but this will not b for month or so....Im gonna see new frogspawn does and start to focus on corals for awhile
