My new addition! Green Feather Duster, saw it at a store and thought I would never see one again, so I purchased it Anybody have any info on this type of feather duster?
I haven't heard of, or found one before until now. It was the only one in the lfs. I got it for $12.95. Not sure if its rare or not. I know nothing about it nor can I find any information on it, any help would be appreciated.
We try to keep them in stock at all times at work.
The ones we get in like that are from Bali I believe. The cost is only slightly more than the "regular" dusters, but I think they look much better. They seem to do well in tanks too.
These are the same type in a different color......actinic lighting really makes them pop though. I have been waiting for the green ones to come in stock for a few weeks now.
I just noticed that the feathers change color (green, yellow, white) like a cuttle fish. Its really cool!!!!
Ryebread: What kind of camera do you have? Seen some of your photos, and the quality is awesome.
wow that looks great. I have all soft corals in my tank and would like to be able to add more color without having to go to hard corals. How much was it and are they very hard to come by?
I have a very bright white version of that feather duster, I love it... It came on a mushroom rock I bought. I have had it for over a year. Also, if anyone is looking for a green one there is one for sale at a small fish store in houston.
Nice duster.
Nice dusters synyster11
The white one looks cool too!
I have some white dusters with black dots on them. Not sure what kind they are either. They came with my LR
newbienz is that duster hard shell or soft shell? Hard shell dusters are called koko worms and much prettier than run of the mill dusters. They are also much more expensive.....
The ones in the pic have soft shells. I have about 30 or so on various LR. Although I do have a koko worm I purchased a few weeks back and they are a lot prettier.
