My New baby.

Thanks, She is very healthy. She had no upper repiratory infection or parasites and she is nice and thick already. I have had her for a week and she as eaten two adult mice. Which is a very good sign of a excellent python. I wasnt really in the market for a bp, i would like a white lipped python but I saw this little thing and could not pass her up. Her markings and color are great.

you know - the fact that I actually clicked on a thread entitled "my new baby" THINKING it was going to be a human baby shows that I'm getting Old....but when I opened it up and saw the baby BP I think it was a better "Aww!" because it reminded me of baby Jonas (8 years ago)
Very cute, congrats! I'd LOVE a pied someday, we have 2 regs and a pastel which Drew wants to breed with his brother's spider ball to make Bumblebees someday.

Ha I know. all the morphs are crazy. I really like the pieds even tho they are one of the more simple morphs to aquire or breed to get. The spiders then bumblebees are really cool they are just clean looking snakes.
My little one has the markers for being heterozygous for the peid ball gene. Now i just need to wait about 2 years. And find a proven het. peid male to breed her to to find out if she is actually a $1500 snake. Not that it matters, if she pops out pied balls Momma is a keeper. Her babies would be worth a large shiney penny tho.
