My New Clam.

Hey,
I just bought a maxima, and here are a couple pics of it.
It has not fully opened, but these pics are within the first 5 minutes of it in the tank.

Looks an awful lot like a Squamosa.

Well, it looks like a squamosa in ways, but
its outer shell is identicle shaped like a maxima.
I can be wrong, but i am not 100% sure.

I believe you're right, just the mantle looks Squamosaish

...how about i will call it a.. Squaxima clam!

yea thats squasmosa, my lfs called it a " GOOD PC CLAM", i was going to tell the owner he was a stupid idiot for saying that so i rescued it and now its looking better
