My new clowns are doing well so far

I have 2 or 3 questions though..
I am feeding Prime Reef ( frozen stuff) they go after it but usually spit it back out and very little gets eaten. Do I worry about this or try another food?
They are also going after the live little bugs of assorted sizes that are all over my LR, not sure if they are successful in getting them though.
Is once a day feeding enough and how long before I introduce other fish. I thought I could buy 1 or 2 and QT them giving the clowns 3 weeks or so of tank time to increase the bio load. Then the new fish won't have as much of an impact.
Of course they are named Nemo and Marlin my 6 year old daughter named them. :happyfish

Fish don't have saliva and often chew spit chew. If they don't ever actually finish it, switch foods.

My smaller clown spits out food but the larger one doesn't. However, both seem to take frozen food for the most part but the food has to be small for the smaller clown. I agree with the other poster. If the problem, is continuous, try another food.
