N nereef Guest Apr 14, 2008 #3 you're in luck. you don't actually have a dot-dash butterfly, Chaetodon pelewensis. you have a similar-looking, but much hardier, punctato butterfly, Chaetodon punctatofasciatus . dot dash bfs have oblique strips.
