I got my new corals yesterday. They seem to be adjusting well.
My Favia coral has all it feeding tenticals out is this a good sign I have made it happy on the placement? It is up high but slight shaded by tilting it on the side vs pointing up.
My Acan is also up high with a little less tilt and it's feeding tenticals are out and it is nice and full looking. It this a good sign I have place that one well?
My Blasto is still adjusting (looks a bit stressed from shipment but open) towards the bottom. Im still looking for a good spot to place it. I have in a spot with lower light and little to no flow, but every once in a while a current will pass by, nothing strong but enough to move it.
These observations are with the lights on.
Will up load pics soon.

Ok here are the pics I just took lights out in my tanks so the flash has washed out the true colors.
The first set is all my new corals. That some of you know where I "won" them.

These I added about 4 weeks ago. Hard to take pic of these.

And this is Henry he was out and about so I thought I would take a pic of him.

That has to be one of the best pictures of a banded shrimp I have ever seen, very nice corals as well.

Not a fan of coral banded shrimp......but, Henry is really pretty. Any problems with him? I have other shrimp in the tank, so interested if he leaves them alone.

I have a few peppermints I hand feed him, so no problems I have had him over a year or so. I have lots of little tiny caves all through my rock work and my peppermints stay out of his way. I have never seen him charge at anything. Maybe I got lucky or maybe because I hand feed? He is quite large 4 inches at the least his feelers are about 8 inches long. He just does so much good work I could not part with him.

Thanks, I think you hit the nail on the head.... you hand feed him. Most cbs get such a bad rep for attacking fish, shrimp but are most likely not fed. I will give this some thought, but.......

I would eat my fish to if I was starving, I mean they are rather plump!
We all snack but I like to be fed. He will snack all night picking my rocks he is very easy around my corals too. But come feeding time he charges right out of his cave and opens his big claws at me waiting for his chunk of meat. he was shy of taking food from me for a long time but I won him over. I am close to getting him to climb in my hands to feed.

ya know after reading a few post today they could have been little madusa worms.
because I thought they where little feather dusters that fell off but they wiggled like worms and had ends on them like a feather duster. and yes they where white looking.
I have mine less than half way and on a slight tilt, it said to do this if running MH and I do. They look so much better today nice and full.
here is first day and today pics
