I just got a med size blur hippo tang for my 90. The problem is that my coral beauty is nipping at him. The coral beauty has been in the tank by himself for about a month or so. Will he continur to nip or will he settle down.

Is the tang bigger if so, when the hippo gets comfortable in the tank he should begin to defend himself and bring the harassment to an end. The angel should learn how to share. If the hippo is smaller it will have to out grow the angel to reverse the roles. This I would worry about as fragile as hippos can be when their small and considering how mean some angels can be when there turf is invaded. GL

Actually they are about the same size. The coral beauty hides ALL the time I never see him. So the one good thing is the tang is out front all the time. Not to many probs as long as they stay away from each other

I would think things should stabilize given time and everyone should be OK.
