My New huge snail

that snail is insainly huge. i bet it keeps the glass nice and clean.

i have a snail about that big, it knocked everything over in my DT so i put it in my QT... he sure kept it clean in there though

that is tiny compiared to some of the snails i saw at my lfs one time they were about the size of one of those smaller salad plates, no lie they were like 20 bucks and the guy there that i was talking to said that he got them by accident and that noone ever buys them bcuse they are just soooo big.

Dos anyone think that one of thos turbo snails can be kept in a 8 gallon bio cube? I got a very big hair algae problem. Will it get rid of the hair algae?

Would do a great job on hair algae, but the size would deter me from getting it. My concern would be tumbling everything down when it was stuck in a position it couldn't get out of. They are incredibly strong for there size, and a large one is just too much testosterone in my book!!!

i can hear where Anonome comes from, i had a very bad out break of hair algae, bought three of them about 1/4" smaller than him and they are all as big covered in coraline, and do bull doze everything over. there nuts. he has the strength to move rock. just to let you know.

haha, im not even joking though, could you actually paint that things shell? well i know you can, but would it do things to your water, e.g. the chemicals and whatnot
