I had a LM blenny in my FOWLR before I added my flamehawkfish (neither of the two are in my tank now). The LMB went right to cleaning my LR, and leaving little mouth prints on the diatoms or green algae on the glass, well, since I got rid of him to stop harrasing the hawk, and then I had to remove the hawk because he flipped one day and started eating all inverts, I got a new LMB 7 days ago. He just sits on the powerheads, and when I watch him, he has not yet taken a bite out of any rocks, and there are NO lip prints on any sides of the glass with this new guy? Is he sick? He rests titled on one side always, and the side tilted up, thats what the cleaner is always picking in his gill.
I don't know what to do, because he doesn't show the typical personality I have seen before in lawnmowers, he hasn't eaten much, and looks thin (tons of algae to eat, the foxface and tang are picking all day, on top of spirulina and algae sheets) and yet he won't die either? How long before yours ate? AHHHH.

This guy started working on my back glass right away. I actually got 2 LMB. They were both in this 20gal tank looking pretty sad. I couldn't help myself. I know I saw were you could not keep 2 in a tank but they weren't bothering each other in the lfs, so I took a chance. I figured in a 125 gal tank with plenty of rock work they should to fine. The pic is of the larger one. The smaller has been going after the algea on the back glass ever since I introduced him to the tank. Hopefully they will continue to get along. I did enter this one in the contest. Man, are there some great pics entered. How do some of you get those pics? I'm impressed.

A LMB can be very happy in a 29 gal tank if you have what it needs. A fair amount of live rock, micro and macro algaes and no fish that will bother it will provide a good environment. Mine is in my 28 bowfront and is doing great. He's tons of fun to watch and seems to be getting enough to eat.
Here's mine...
