1.emporer angel Red Sea 169.99 emporer angel not red sea 89.99
2.VOLITAN LIONFISH 49.99
3.clown trigger 99.99
4.tesslata eel 139.99
All depends on avalibility. Find them cheaper let me know. We had 2 Marine bettas 6 to 7 inches long both went today for 45.99 each A Blue koran went for 37.99 it was just starting to change 4 to 5 inch. You picked expensive stock.

When we started out we called lots of companys and lots help you to get started like holding tanks buy them now and get a rebate of half of your purchase price that really helped out. Freezer for foods they offer you a 100.00 rebate on any freezer you buy you just send them proof of purchase. Lots of companys are really nice. Salt is buy bulk its not for resale its for in store use only pretty cheap. The most expenssive part was the display stands ill post a couple of pics tomorrow. Lots of miles on the weekened to pick up the livestock at the airport not to mention getting lost thats always fun.

And how is that a bad thing? Plus, you are getting RIPPED if your LFS is charging $800-$1000 for an adult clown trigger.

We had a young fella here in town go into the petshop business. ALmost over night he had a fairly large shop that had just about any legal critter in it that you could imagine........virtually any FW or SW fish, tons of stock, birds, reps, cats and dogs.........He lasted perhaps a year, and soon things started to shrink........ONe day I was around looking for junk (Dedicated dumpster diver is what I am) and low and behold what do I se, but him outside smashing tanks and other stock in a dumpster.....He went bust, and was really disturbed....He actualy tired to go too big too soon and should have started off smaller and expanded as the need arose.........ANyway here about 1 year or so ago while dumpster diving yet again, I found a heap of tanks, and new old stock pets stuff mainly bird and fish and rep stuff outbehind this long empty and closed store. What wsa the best find was 3 of the CPR acrylic nano cubes withbuilt in skimmers etc, that they no longer sell or make.......Evidently someone bought the store and cleaned it out so they cold remodel it, and that stuff was still inside it........
I know I got off topic there, but lots of luck in your new business........its a hard business IMHO to make it in if your not real carefull.

Nice looking shop you have there! I've actually been considering starting a LFS myself. I live in NE Ohio and have to drive an hour to get my saltwater stuff - nearest store is about 50miles away. If you could give me any tips on how to get started I would really appreciate it. (Wholesalers and suppliers?) Thanks!

GOOD LUCK with the store and my brother is avid with a 210 gallon tank as well and i have a few friends in the hobby as well ill send your way.. since your from around here you know exactly how shitty LFS are around here. only good one we have is petzone. the rest are disgusting disgraces to the idea of keeping living creatures. from the pictures looks like you have one of the nicest places around here. i look forward to stoping in.. and to all reading this, ill give you guys a first hand opinion when i stop by!!!! thanks !
