My New MH Setup, what you think?

plum is that one ballast running those MH's? I am waiting on a back order shipment for the same set up. But I "was" going with Icecaps.......if there is a better and cheaper solution, lets hear it.

Well This is a dual 400 watt Standart Ballast from PFO, with out the bulbs under 400.00 with the reeflectors and sockets, Very happy with it nice quality, Ballast is heavy 45 lbs or so,
Cheaper or better thats up to you , I was thinking of electronic ballast went with PFO tar style instead ,

The flame scallop I got from the reef place on sterling and 95. 3 bucks and he still looks good. Where did you get yours from?

What is the good and bad using tar or electric ballast?

there is many pros and cons of each, Price,Electronic are more$,they say bulbs last longer, but dont fire as hot, run cooler,
Tar type ballast can be cheaply repaired,electronic chuck it buy another, can anyone else chime in More?
