Lol, he must have been laughing at you too much to think about eating :b. Freeze dried krill usually works because the smell is so potent. Grab a garlic clove out of the fridge, crush it, and rub another piece of food on it, people have good luck with garlic enticing fish.

If you try the pellets, and it doesn't work; you'll need something live or really stinky.....Get some fresh Octopus from a sea-food store; fresh meaning-> on ice already thawed. Cut the tentacles off the Octo and soak them in seachem's garlic guard. I personally don't feed the head to fish; it's mushy and messy. Attempt to feed your puffer with a feedin stick, and hope for the best. Some fish never eat regardless of what's offered...sad :notsure:
Was it eating at the LFS? And did you see it?
Any fish I personally buy over $100; must be eating

got him to eat... I got some live ghost shrimp and tied them to the end of a feeding stick soon as i put it into the water he came darting across the tank and grabbed it up... then i was able to just hold the shrimp in my hand until he came over and he would snatch it out of my hand... Now i just have to ween him onto frozen krill...
:cheer: :happyfish

I have only one word for this fish. AWESOME. If I didn't already have a porc puffer, i would possiblly consider, but there is no way Spike is going anywhere.
