We just got our new yellow lab puppy last night , 6 weeks old to the day
....CRIED all last night,tried the bed , couch with him , he finally fell asleep with my hubby at 2am on the basement/family room couch....cried this morning so I fashioned a baby sling out of an old sheet...He just whined a little bit today , so hopefully he'll do better tonight ...oh ,and his name is riley

It is illegal to post puppy pics do to the fact that I will want to buy another pup.LOL. Very cute. 6 weeks, that's pretty young

10 minutes before falling off the couch....
3 minutes before falling off of couch...then he was walking around with the blanket over him like a jawa from the star wars movie...hehe

I know , the woman we got her from was in her last weeks of pregnancy and wanted the puppies gone at 6 weeks ....but for a 100 $ for a purebred papered lab, I'll take a few nights of crying....lol

He is so adorable!!! I just want to cuddle him for hours.
I'm assuming you're trying to crate train him. If so, you might consider putting a stuffed animal in the crate with him, something big enough that he could cuddle with like it was one of his littermates. A ticking alarm clock outside the crate is also supposed to be comforting. Separation anxiety is a normal problem those first couple days (at night especially) and the stuffed animal and alarm clock are supposed to help. Putting the crate in the same room with you will help too. Good luck!
