My new RBTA

Well I went up there and snaped a few pix of my newest addition! I added her last night, and this morning one of my clowns had hosted!!! I am glad! I had a LFS emloyee tell me that Falses would probably never host because they are captive bred....lol! I laugh! This is "NEMO" playing peak-a-boo, and a whole tank shot.... to see how big she is (And half of her is in a cave)!

I don't know about the "captive bred" part being an issue but usually O. clowns don't host the bubble tip anemones. They are not naturally found together being the reason as I understand it. That being said... My pair love their GBTA

Also, I love the RBTA, beautiful!

So she decided that she wanted to take up her spot in the back of the tank, where I can't see her.... How do I get him on the move again, to possibly have her take root up front? I have a powerhead pointed at her, and her stubborn self isn't budging!

Since Dec of 05'. Couple of years.... kinda bare huh! Well story is that I let the tank basicly die off at the begining of the year, due to other priorities! But it had water in it the whole time.... and a pistol shrimp made it through the whole ordeal, so I started putting time and effort back into it month and a half ago! So I know I had some benifical bacteria in there because pistol made it! I am currently doing 2-3 2g water changes a week to restore... starting next week only one 2g water change a week.

It really doesnt matter it will go where it wants you can try to landlock it on a rock infront sometimes it works as they dont care for crossing sand much (at least mine doesnt ) but in the end have foot will travel ,

Beautiful rbta!
Mine has moved around my tank, and "disappeared" for over a week. I was sure that it was dead, but one day it was back on it's favorite rock as if nohing ever happened. It has deflated, shrinking to a little tiny ball of flesh, than came back as big as ever. I can't seem to figure them out, but they just seem to know what they like. Mine hasn't moved in a couple of weeks, but ya never know.
I have tried to move mine and the only thing that worked even a little bit was to move the rock it was attached to, and even that didn't last long.

Both of my RBTA's have stayed just about in the same spot as I put them 2 weeks ago. the larger one has just pushed it's foot deeper into the cave and the other hasn't moved any. I hear how much some of these guys move, but mine must have found good spots.
