This is patterned after the Borneman Surge Device. Instead of a 5 gallon bucket I used two 32 gallon Rubbermaid Roughnecks.
The surge is incredible, random and powerful. I believe this opens up opportunities for keeping a wider diversity of sandbed inhabitants.
