Allot of guys will modify these cars. The base sedan above is not one you usually modify. The biggest ones you will see if you go to the site are the SVT's, Saleens, and the four door ST. Therer of course not super speed demons but they handle like a dream. Ricers give bad names to people who can actually modify these cars correctly.

Ricer is very common in the car world. err let me rephrase that. In the Tuner/Race world. Its normally idiot kids adding body kits huge wheels and those stupid maxwell house coffee cans to their cars and thinking they can beat a corvette. In reality they slowed their car down by a second.
Dont get me wrong. I know some people with very very fast Honda civics. 150+ in the 1/4 mile. These are very rare and barely street driven.
IMO any inline 4 car that is N/A and ment for getting good gas mileage isnt a sports car by any means and should never be considered one. That includes the Si models from Honda. Or Type S models from Acura. Are they sporty and sleek and good looking cars. Sure. They arent fast and they dont handle that great. People think they are and do because they havent been in a real psorts car. V8 and bigger or bust baby!

Lol we had a guy come to one of the meets with a black zx3 (Thats the hatch back) with a v8 dropped in it. That thing was stupid fast, he had to turn it into a rear wheel drive. If I can find some pics of it from my camera I will put them up.

Congrats Alix, my first car was a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra S, two door with absolutely NO options, not even a tilt steering wheel.
Good luck with your new car - Its nice... treat it well. And now you have to get a job so you can afford car insurance, right?

Wow..... Over 30 posts and no inappropriate jokes about a spacious rear seat or anything. I don't know whether to be impressed or disappointed....
Congrats on the car Alix. Everyone remembers their first car. Hopefully you have some great memories with da Focus.

So let me see if I understand this. This guy bought a fuel efficient, environmentally friendly, automobile. It was front wheel drive and then bastardized it into an environment harming, gas guzzling, muscle machine...AWESOME!!!
However seems kinda lame as well......why not do this with a truie muscle car? After all, you are still driving a ford focus.....

Seriously.. why not just buy a mustang. It probably would have been cheaper
