Hey Teresa,
Wow...your horses look great, very happy. I may be picking your brain in a couple of months or so. I'm upgrading my 37gal to a 46bf. Plan for the 37 after the upgrade is to do a seahorse species tank. I have a long way to go yet before that happens...I have to work up nerve to move my reef first...
At this point, I have the new tank, stand, lighting and most of the equipment.
Can't wait to have it all behind me and everyone doing good with more room to roam.

those seahorses look great, love that shy picture!!!!
but however...i must be the bearer of some bad news.....about your tank.....i just really don't think it suffices.....i mean have you looked at it teresa?!!? what you need is something bigger...flashy...er.....hmmmm,.....but what could you get??

I HAVE IT!!! someone is selling a beautiful...i mean BEAUTIFUL dream tank on this board....its a double tank--two tanks connected by two tubes...the two are hexagon....and total about 55 gallons...i cant imagine how much those seahorses would love it!!!! and whew...you would just blow people away with it...i bet your husband would love it to, and your daughter!!! i'd run it by them if i were you...they would probably agree that tank just isnt doing it for them.............................lol, looks wonderful in reality though, good job!

you keep tring to temp me with that tank. my husband would leave me if I told him i needed a bigger tank for my horses. it was hard enough to get him to agree to the one i have. with the 150 reef and the seahorses, and three kids, and one coming home the beginning of next yr, my plate is full

Love your horses, though I prefer the four legged kind.
I would love to have them in my reef tank, but I've been told they are not good for reef tanks with other fishes. I'll just admire yours.

Aren't they happier in pairs?
You don't really need anything live for them to hang on, coral skeletons are fine. They really like sea fans too, you can get plastic coated ones.
IMO, that is a good tank to keep them in. The don't need a long tank for swimming, and the tall things you put in for them to hang on will look good in that shape of a tank.

no they are fine in a group of females. I dont want babies every 20 to 28 days.
I do need a few more tall things for them. branco was teasing me about the tank he has for sale.
