My new Shark...

I saved this poor baby out of a 40 gal and he is about 18" long. I put him in my 270 gal so he has plenty of room. I plan on feeding him shrimp, scalopes, squid, muscles, silversides, and what else should I feed him.

yeah definately sounds good....i dont understand how some LFS's can justify putting an 18 inch shark into a 40 gallon tank

This place is in it for the money, not for the people and animals. I would love to open a pet store here. Can you believe that they sell the live rock for 8.99 a lbs.

I know man, people in CA are brutal when it comes to pricing. Nice shark. I wish i could get the three sharks the LFS has to save them out of like a 20G tank.

I think he hasn't eaten anything yet and he just stays under the rocks all day. Is this normal. I figured when I put food in he would come out but he hasn't came out yet. Do you think he could be stuck?

Got him to eat today. I moved the rock so I could get to him and he came out when I fed him. He ate about 3/4 of a fresh scalope which I think is pretty good. He just likes to lodge himself into tight spots which I think he is stuck. Is this normal? I have caves built for him but he doesn't seem to go into them. I think he is more like 20" long now. How big do these sharks get? I thought it was about 38".
