Hi ive been doing a lot of reading of peoples new tanks and a lot of other stuff on here and thought i better sign up and try and keep a diary lol see how it goes. Also There are some very nice tanks out there to hope mine ends up half as good. Only time will tell i guess. I started of in saltwater with only a 75 lts or 19 gallon tank just to give it a try and to see how it went. Only had a Percula clown (not sure if its a true clown or not havent been able to count the number of spines on the dorsal fin any other way of telling?) and sailfin tang. I went all went good and i have finaly got i bit bigger new tank. The biggest i can fit in my house lol. Running out of room. Freshwater one taking up the only other room i had, need bigger house. The tank is a Aqua one ufo 880 about 304 lts or 76 gallons. Have got about 30 kg or 66 pounds of live rock in it and going through cycling at the moment. Not sure if i should get some more live rock or not more is ment to be better right? anyway here is a pic of my new tank and a pic from my small one that will being getting torn down when the new one if up and going Sorry about no pics trying to get file size down any good ideas anyway i will keep trying

the only thing that is prob not that good is the lighting fluros its got 2 30w one 10 000k and one 15 000k and a 20w 10 000k not sure how coral will go with this lighting. I have also bought a 20w actinic blue light to to go in (to replace the 10 000k one) but it was the wrong one i need a 23 and a half inch one and the one i got is 24 inch think they make this odd size just to piss u off i think lol

the only reason i could think for this is to get a bigger spike for more bacteria i guess but i dont really want this because i got a heap of critters with the live rock and dont want to kill them off heaps of starfish (bristle i think) crabs shrimp and unchin and pollips and other bits of coral
