Marineland SeaClone 100 Protein Skimmer harnesses the forces of nature to efficiently remove dissolved organics and waste from your marine aquarium. SeaClones exclusive Turbo-Venturi Injector System mixes filtered water and air in the pump impeller chamber, creating millions of micro-bubbles for maximum skimming efficiency and improved gas exchange. Air and water swirl together in the Vortex Reaction Chamber, creating a powerful ''cyclone'' effect that rapidly draws dissolved wastes from aquarium water. Comes complete with powerful Maxi-Jet 1200 Pump. It requires no airstones and is more efficient than air-driven protein skimmers. Functions as either a external hang-on or internal sump model. Great for all marine aquariums up to 100 gallons.
A new one only runs like $80. I just got mine off the big E for $27. I couldnt find the gph but it uses a maxi-jet 1200 which I believe it rated at 295 gph. I really dont want to part with mine yet. Havent even gotten it into the tank. I would say just hit up the big E or amazon like I did. :)

Yeah, I am planning on doing the agrocrete. You say to put it in fresh water that is aerated and circulating, so i assume just put a filter on it to do both. You later mention though about putting it in saltwater that ISN'T moving or aerated. I am not following that part. Wouldnt I want it to be circulating?
Also I already have two damsels... If I get it processed in the freshwater do you think it would really be that bad to put it in my saltwater tank that is already set up. There is no other fish/coral in the tank. Just the two fish and the crushed coral.
Thoughts on this?

i mean put it in a tub or container full od salt water that doesn't move this will show if it can still cause ph flucutations if the ph doesn't rise in a few days then it will be safe :happyfish

oh you dont know how lucky you are, i did 3/4 cc and 1/4 sand and well...I WISH I HAD ALL SAND
The cc has all but coered the sand and instead of having that nice clean look of the sand it has a...well a dirty look thats kinda inbetween lr and rock... Do the sand if its not to late, im thinking of just covering the cc with about an inch of ls just to hae the clean look.

Okay, here is my issue. I already have my tank up, full of water and cycled. If I were to add sand now would that cause a spike in any of my levels (ie ph, ammonia, trites, trates) or would it be okay?
