Hey everyone i got something new today thought i would share. Its a RO/DI i got off the

site everyone uses a lot. Works great 100 GPD. Can wait to start doing water changes with it. Here is a pic of it under my utility sink and the hook up that i use on the sink, didnt puncture any water lines or anything just hooked it up from the faucet pretty good idea huh and i have the waste water line running in the sink as well, works great. What does everyone think?

i got one off the bay myself.thats cuzz im poor.can't say it works perfectly (dont have tds meter) but it's better than well water in the tank.. .. if i could afford it, i would buy a "real' ro/di unit.. ( thats like $200+) but i cant.. and next "semester is commin soon... ill be super broke again!!! arghh!! must get coral while i can!!!!

There is nothing wrong with that unit . I use the same one, except I added a 10" DI to it and changed the RO membrane to a 75GPD instead of the 100GPD . The 100GPD membrane has a rejection rate of 90% where the 75GPD has a 98% rejection rate. If you decide to change yur membrane yu need flow restrictor to match the new membrane. My water before RO?DI runs around 580 after it is 0-1.

I also run the exact same unit and have had it for almost 2 years and as long as you change out the membranes when needed it works great.
