yup, he's a camelback alright. You lucked out tho - at least at the LFSs around here, camels are more expensive than peppermints

And aside from being really fun to watch, mine's good at getting rid of cyano, too.

as far as I know they're good to go with pretty much everyone - except coral banded shrimps. Those guys r just nasty. It wouldn't be the camel that would be the problem - the CBS would probably try to munch on him....as well as everything else in the tank
hey - I'm starting a 40g FOWLR in a couple weeks....got any full tank shots? I'd love to see your rockwork! :happyfish

GORGEOUS goby.
LoL - it looks like a freshwater tank with the plants and the background! I really like your rockwork though, try a plain blue or black background and get rid of those plants and you'll have a really sweet looking salt-tank. And don't worry about it looking empty, you'll fill it soon enough, believe me

come to think about it, what's on the back of the background u have now? Sometimes they come with blue or black on the other side, so you can just flip it around without having to do/buy anything else.

ummm its just a bunch of rocks corals anenomes and stuff. Yeah i dont think the plastic plants r really hurtin any1 for the moment until i get the live rock but they wont be there after the new rock is put in. I cant stand looking at a plain tank it drives me crazy. Y just a plain color background does it really make a different. I actually caught one of my false percs tryin to get into a pic of the anenome in the background but didnt have too much success lol

I actually think the plants would look cool with a blue background... most pple around here would disagree tho, LoL.
Yah, the background really does make a difference - it takes away the cluttered feeling and leaves you with a space-expansion effect. When it's the right shade of blue, it can make your tank look a lot bigger than it actually is.

hmm really... they dont cost anything at all maybe i will go get a blue one this week or something. But yeah i dont think alot of people go with the idea of fake decor in the tank but oh well its good enough until i can get the rest of my live rock in there then start up with my corals.

they are plastic. I dont kno what brand they are but i havent had any problems at all they been in there for a few months now and all my levels are fine. I dont plan on keeping them in there tho they are just until i can my new live rock in there. I always see my hermit crabs and snails on them all the time so it must not bother them

Not me, but everybody likes different things. I went with the natural look with a solid black backround. It just makes all the stuff in your tank POP out! It sounds like thats what you may try, but if you're happy with it, thats what matters. There are plenty of pics on this website that you can check out and get new ideas. Thanks for posting pics and have fun!!!
