thank you..... I believe this species is a zooxanthellae however it's hard to tell because I do feed my tank. Right now I have the lights off and they are closed.......... waite one moment please..........(elevator music pls). okay, thank you foe holding. Just turned the lights on and watched for a second. As we speak, or type, they are opening up. Still hard to tell

alot of azoox corals will sitll open with light (photosynthesis accelerates the phytoplankton population in the ocean, therefore causing even azoox corals to open up with light). not all of them are like this though.
if you can get a closer shot of the polyp, i could tell if it is photosynthetic or not

thank you. The light blue one has been pissy for awhile since I moved it. A couple of weeks ago I saw this slimy looking worn on it and picked it off, and it hasn't reaaly opened all the way since. Keeping an eye on it. Any thoughts on how to get it to open again?
