My Phoenix Suns are back!!!

With Terry Porter fired and Alvin Gentry in to replace him, the Suns are back to their run and gun style that made them the most fun team to watch under D'Antoni for so many years, they put up 81 in the first half and 140 for the game to blow out the Clippers by 40.....Amare is off the trade block (allegedly), and everybody looked happy last night. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying bring on the Lakers and Celtics, but at least basketball may be fun again here in Phoenix.

Just thought I would share my joy

I like the Suns too, but don't forget, they were playing the clippers..

I don't really care who they play, as long as they are fun to watch....Only one team can win it all and that will either be the Spurs, Celts or Lakers, lets face it. I would love to see the Suns win it all of course, but beyond that, I just want to be entertained, and at their best, nobody is more entertaining than Steve Nash, not even Lebron or Kobe. I hated watching Steve Nash walk the ball up under Terry Porter, and Amare hated it too.
Clippers do stink, but they had won 3 out of their last 4.

Back in the day when I was a basketball fan... I loved watching the suns and their all run and gun offensive... their motto - we'll just score more points.
Took a last second 3 pointer by john paxon? (can't remember) to sink them in the finals -- yeah many years ago.

Yeah it was Paxson...Danny Ainge went in after Horace Grant and left Paxson wide open for 3. I remember this game vividly (well vividly as you can after 16 years)...I have not watched the NBA since 93, and that game....I was a huge Barkley fan, and just could not bring myself to watch after that.
