mine is doing it CONSTANTLY lately.. not sure whats up with it, our water parameters are fine. Everyday it comes back nice and full, but for a couple hours out of the day it looks horribly shriveled up does yours come back at all or did this just start?

Have you tried moving it to different locations?Maybe it just dosent like where it is.

It is definately not dead. I would try to move it someplace else and see what it does. They are funny creatures. I see it has some sand on it. Do you have a sand sifting goby? The sand will definately irritate it. Try moving it, and see what happens.
I actually have mine up on a smooth flat rock because of my sand sifter.

i guess it doesnt like where it is.. it blows itself up and keeps moving towards the front of the tank (up against the glass) we have moved it backwards so it has more room and is off the glass and it keeps making its way (Ever so slowly) to the front, maybe we should take the hint... great suggestion!

Beside coral filter food are spot feeding small pieces of shrimp, squid etc. I feed my plates once a week (spot feed) and once a week with coral food. Before when only feeding with coral food they were not out and plump, now full and growing bigger. Hope this helps

Could it be your lights? They need very high lighting to really be happy.
Glad to see that you are moving it, but what type of lighting do you have?
