my protein skimmer

ok, I have the cpr bak pak protein skimmer and after a few hours of running it white foam starts coming out of the four little holes of the very top of the skimmer. I dont think that this is supposed to happen. What should I do? Also it is very noisey, any way I can quiet it down?

If it is brand new, give it a week or so to break in and get ridd of the small bubbles.

yeah, its new. I was thinking the foam was coming out of the top because my O ring maybe wasent on right. Can I do anything about the noise?

Is it vibrational noise? My AquaC was a bit noisy at first, but I kind of moved things around a little and its much better now.
